BONITA + SLICK & BOBBY present: Astral Travelling - Dub v Cumbia (Baile De Los Muertos Edition)

The spookiest night of the year is upon us and what better way to celebrate than with a clash of haunted dub and cumbia? Ghostly echos, spooky springs, and all sorts of references to a world of vampires, witches, devils and other nightly creatures!

Once again, Bonita and Slick & Bobby join forces to bring their Dub vs Cumbia night; launched in August 2024 with a magical performance by both bands plus special guests from Colombia, if you were there then you know, and if you weren’t then this is your invitation! Expect very special surprise guests from both worlds, in a culture exchange like no other.

Seng Seng rhythm section and Wu-Lu engine room, SLICKnBOBBY is a live DUB project exploring raw roots and dub styles joined by The Bonita House Band, which has collaborated with the likes of the Maestro, Julio Ernesto Estrada ’Fruko’ and different Latin American artists in London and the UK, with a combination of Salsa, Latin Jazz, Cumbia, Folklore and Psychedelia.
